Centre closure

We’re making some changes to how we operate, so we can make sure our wetland sites thrive in the future. To help us make time to prepare for these changes, the site will be closed temporarily, from Wednesday 12 November until Tuesday 18 November. You can find out what this means for you here.

Around the rerserve:

Singing warblers include Garden (first for this season), Willow, Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Sedge and Common Whitethroat. There are nesting Little Grebes and Mute Swans on the Teal Pond. A Greenland-race Wheatear showed well from Avenue Tower, am. Swallow and House Martin nos continue to build, with plenty of nesting activity around the centre buildings
