Become a Birder
Discover wetland birds and how to identify them, from diving and dabbling ducks to the different kinds of geese and swan. Learn about the importance of wetlands and take home an ID pack to help you use your new skills at home and in the wild!
This event is intended for children aged between 5 and 10 but is open to families of all ages.
Date: 20th October 2025
Time: 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Location: WWT Caerlaverock, Eastpark Farm, DG1 4RS
Cost: To reserve a space for this event is free but you will be charged admission (£3.15 per child) on arrival.
Age restriction: 5-10, however everyone welcome! Please note children must be accompanied by a paying adult (18+).
Accessibility: Flat terrain over concrete and hardcore paths.
Please wear warm and waterproof clothing and footwear.
This event is part of the Wild Goose Festival.
