Dragonfly Photography Competition
We are on the hunt for the best photo of a dragonfly at WWT Caerlaverock. Will it be yours?
Through summer from the 21st of June until the 22nd of September 2025, we are running a competition to see who can capture the best photo of a dragonfly at WWT Caerlaverock. Whether it's darting of in search of prey or resting in the sun on a grass stem, we want to see them all.
Enter to be in with a chance of winning a year long WWT membership and an opportunity to exhibit your photographs in our Visitor Centre.
Send entries to us at info.caerlaverock@wwt.org.uk with the subject line: "Dragonfly Photography Competition" and your name, age and up to 50 words about when, where and how you took the photo.
We will choose a winner and two runners up and announce it during the week beginning the 29th of September 2025.
Terms & Conditions
Photos must be taken at WWT Caerlaverock between the dates of 21st June and 22nd September 2025.
Maximum of three entries per person.
We appreciate that you will want to get the best shot however please be mindful and respectful of the wildlife, stick to the paths and do not cause unnecessary disturbance.
