Gallery Exhibition: Around and about in Galloway
Our next gallery exhibition is local artist Katrina Tennant with friends Pat Duguid, Helen Figgis, Alan Bowman, Glenda Bowman and Stuart Ditchburn from Screel Art Group in Castle Douglas.

Let Katrina introduce herself...
"My introduction into the art world probably stemmed from childhood, having been raised up on the Orkney Islands where arts, crafts, music and dance are very much encouraged.
I studied ballet in Edinburgh after leaving secondary school, taught dancing over many years so there has always been an artistic side to me. Retirement has given me time to enjoy painting landscapes and wildlife in the bonny Galloway.
Having only started painting three years ago with great encouragement from my husband and family, I am thrilled to be doing this, my first exhibition in the beautiful surroundings of WWT Caerlaverock with the addition of paintings from friends at the Screel Art Group in Castle Douglas."
