Gathering Stitches Festival
Brought to you by Inspiring Yarns, Gathering Stitches is a brand-new 2-day festival celebrating yarn, textiles and sustainable fashion.
Dates: 17-18th May
Time: 11am-5pm (Quiet Hour 10am-11am)
Come along to browse and shop at exhibitor stalls from local yarn shops, textile artists, designers and makers.
Take part in a workshop or join Inspiring Yarns’ panel discussion on sustainable fashion. Workshop details will be announced soon on the Gathering Stitches website.
Tickets: General admission tickets/membership to WWT Castle Espie, and festival tickets from the Gathering Stitches website are all valid for entry to the event.

Inspiring Yarns CIC are a social enterprise based in Newtownards. They provide a community space and workshops allowing people to reduce isolation and improve mental health using yarn and textile-based crafts including weaving, spinning, knitting, crochet, embroidery and sewing.
