Recent Sightings - 18th June 2018
The following sightings were recorded today at Mid-tide from the reserve at Castle Espie.
A couple of Common Terns are being sighted on a daily basis; using the rafts in the Main lake and the Saline Lagoon. Keep an eye out for the spectacular dives into the water to catch fish!
Estuary – visible from the Brent Hide and the Limekiln Observatory

Main lake – visible from Sensory garden and Visitor centre
Mallard 16, Tufted duck 6, Black-headed gull 19, Moorhen 1, Common Tern 1, Gadwall 1 + 3 chicks
Shingle bank – visible from Sensory garden, Wadermarsh and Visitor Centre
