Recent Sightings €- 9th July 2018

The following sightings were recorded today at High tide from the reserve at Castle Espie.

Exciting news from the Freshwater Lagoon this morning! A Common Sandpiper was seen bobbing around the edges of the lagoon! The hot weather is drying up the lagoon and exposing more mud making this a perfect sheltered spot for the Common Sandpiper to forage for food. Keep an eye out for this small bird from the Brent hide and Roundhouse hide.
