Air-dry Clay Creations at Mudfest 2026
Celebrate the joy of getting creative with clay at WWT Llanelli’s Mudfest 2026! Families, nature‑lovers, and budding artists are invited to roll up their sleeves and enjoy hands‑on air‑dry clay workshops inspired by the textures, shapes and stories of wetlands.
Let your imagination flow with the friendly guidance of our resident artist, Rhiannon Collins, as you sculpt your own mini masterpieces. Whether you’re shaping beautiful 3D birds or designing decorative plaques inspired by your visit, these sessions are all about exploring nature through touch, creativity and clay.
Across two relaxed drop‑in workshops, Rhiannon will help you experiment with simple techniques to mould, press, shape and mark air‑dry clay. Perfect for beginners of any age.
There’s no need to book, and all materials are provided. Both workshops are included in your entry ticket or free for WWT members. The morning session will focus on bird sculptures, and the afternoon session will switch to plaque designs for hanging decorations. Feel free to join Rhiannon for both!
