As part of our Dragonfly Festival, this lively 45-minute show brings you surprising facts, hands-on moments and plenty of “wow” discoveries. From ancient origins to incredible flying skills, you’ll uncover just how weird and wonderful these beautiful insects really are.
Why do dragonflies have such big eyes? How fast can they fly? And what makes them some of the most successful hunters in the natural world? These are just some of the questions we'll answer in the show through storytelling, demonstrations and play.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of WWT Llanelli in summer, it’s a brilliant way to add a spark of science and discovery to your visit; whether you’re a budding wildlife explorer or just looking for something different to enjoy as a family.
