Walk With A Warden: January

Walk With A Warden: January

January's walk will help you spot more of our wild winter visitors and tracks left behind in the mud... maybe even in the snow!

Date: Saturday 17 January 2026

Time: 11:30 am start. Meet at the Info Desk.

Venture out onto the wetland nature reserve with friendly expert guidance on hand to help you spot some of the season's best highlights. Get insider wildlife tips and all of your questions answered. You'll learn how to look for subtle signs and tracks you may never have noticed before, and how to identify a broad range of different species.

As always, what you'll see will depend on the weather and wildlife.

Our walks with a warden are suitable for everyone. We follow even, accessible paths and tailor each walk to the group on the day. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned wildlife pro, we guarantee you will get something from exploring the wetlands with us!

The walk will last about 90 minutes but you don't have to commit to the full walk - if you're short of time you can dip out along the way.

No need to book, just be at the Info Desk for an 11:30 am start. Walk With A Warden is included in normal WWT entry ticket price, or free for WWT members.
