Wild Walk - what's mud got to do with it?
Join our wardens in exploring the wilder side of our wetlands with a walk down to Wader Lake, finding out how we manage the mud down there to ensure the habitat is just right for the nationally important populations of wading birds which choose to spend their springs and summers there
Time: 11am-12pm
Meeting place: Picture window (next to admissions)
Cost: Included with general admission
Meet our team for this hour long wild walk around our reserve soaking up the sights and sounds of nature.
This is a fantastic opportunity to spend some time with our expert wardens so ask any questions as we go. It's also a great chance to practice your IDing skills with hints and tips from our team. For avid photographers, you may just spot a new thing or two!
No booking needed - we'll leave the centre at 1pm so please meet in the picture window 5 minutes beforehand.
