Avocet update
Nine (yes, NINE!) avocets are now on Wader Lake! Could a tenth now arrive and break our 2012 site record of four nesting pairs? Watch this space...:-)

Magnificent seven
Great news from Wader Lake, where there are currently seven avocets present. Our site record is eight in total (four pairs nested last year) so all eyes are peeled for the return of the final bird!

We have two pairs of avocet on Wader Lake as of this morning. They've bred here successfully since 2006 - could this year be another!?
