WWT Welney

Welcome to Welney Wetland Centre

The friendly welcome our visitors receive is the perfect start to a day exploring wetlands, where incredible wildlife encounters take place everyday, set in the heart of the Fens.

Friday 23rd March 2018: Water levels on the Ouse Washes have been falling and it is looking like we will be opening access to some of the hides over the next few days, but wellies will be required. Currently, the main hide is the only hide accessible.  The A1101 is officially open and free from flooding.  There is still a good number of birds and species on the reserve and Spring Walks are continuing as normal. We will post further updates as access improves.
