Affordable days out this summer at Welney
This summer WWT Welney is able to offer reduced admission prices as part of the Government’s Great British Summer Savings Scheme, from Thursday 25 June to Tuesday 1 September 2026.
Our site at WWT Welney is able to offer reduced admission prices as part of the Government’s Great British Summer Savings Scheme, from Thursday 25 June to Tuesday 1 September 2026.
We are hoping that this will help families enjoy time spent exploring UK wildlife and the benefits spending time in wetlands can bring, as more affordable days out during the school holidays.
The reduced prices cover all ages and concessions, with children under 3 and carers continuing with FREE admission.
Throughout the summer holidays families can celebrate the return of WWT’s Dragonfly Festival with a host of activities including a big weekend with some special guests Sat 22 & Sun 23 August. Going wild this summer with pond dipping, bug hunting and exploring the trails and hides to enjoy the sights and sounds of UK wildlife.
For older families or adults, the full extent of our trail network will be open from hides, to summer walk, to tansy trail to Lady Fen – big open skies and wide wetland spaces await.
As a charity, all income from visitors and further support from members, is reinvested in our work to protect and restore wetlands, provide a home for wildlife and benefit people in the connections made with nature.
Reduced prices as part of Great British Summer Savings Scheme - Thurs 25 June - Tues 1 September
