Community Minibus - Ely to WWT Welney
FREE Community minibus connecting Ely with WWT Welney Wetland Centre.
Travel to WWT Welney Wetland Centre free of charge from Ely via FACT community minibus.
Dates and times
Dates: 2 September - 29 November.
Days: Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Times: Depart 11am, return 2.45pm OR Depart 12noon, return 3.45pm.
Cost: FREE, booking essential, does not include admission WWT Welney.
How it works
You will depart from Ely train station (11am or 12noon) via Oliver Cromwell's House (Ely Tourist Information Centre) arriving at WWT Welney 30 minutes later. You will then have about 3 hours 15minutes to explore WWT Welney Wetland centre before departing at either 2.45pm or 3.45pm for the return journey direct to Ely train station.
Useful information
A single fixed wheelchair can be accommodated per trip - please select the wheelchair user ticket and get in touch with the centre if you have any questions.
Entry to the Visitor centre for the café and gift shop is free. The trails and hides require WWT membership or admission ticket/s, which can be purchased online in advance or on the day.
10% off purchases in our gift shop and cafe when you show your minibus ticket.
Tickets to be booked by 12noon the previous day.
