Suitable for beginners or those with some experience. Perfect workshop to develop your skills in a relaxed, friendly environment. 

A workshop with esteemed Norfolk wildlife artist, Martin Gibbons, exploring techniques for sketching birds.

The morning is spent in the classroom setting of the Pond Room learning about the techniques. The afternoon is spent out around our wetlands practicing the sketching techniques in the field. 

Own equipment required -
sketchbook / paper, watercolour / colour pencils , eraser / sharpener, pencils (HB will be fine).

The Wigeon Cafe offers a wide range of lunches and refreshments, or you are welcome to bring your own lunch. We just ask that you consume anything brought by yourself, in the Pond Room or the hides - but not in the cafe. 

Accessibility

Time spent of the reserve will take be on paths and in hides that are wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible. We have a few wheelchairs and mobility scooters that are free to borrow, you can call ahead of your visit if you would like to reserve one - 01353 860711.
