What do dragonflies do?

What's the lifecycle of a dragonfly?

A dragonfly's lifecycle has three main stages: egg, nymph, and adult. Females lay eggs in or near water. These hatch into nymphs - fierce underwater hunters that can live in water for months or even years. When ready, a nymph climbs out of the water, sheds its skin, and emerges as a fully formed adult dragonfly, ready to take to the skies. It's an incredible transformation!

Are dragonflies and damselflies the same?
