Membership updates for 2022

Prices for WWT membership are increasing from April 2022. This was not an easy decision, but after freezing prices during the global pandemic to support members, we need to make this change now to ensure the continuity of our conservation work.

The global pandemic distracted many from the plight of our natural world. Now life is returning to normal we must take a full steam ahead approach to the climate and biodiversity crisis. Healthy wetlands are an essential tool in the fight for our planet and we need to make these changes so we can get on with our work.

We believe that membership still offers excellent value for money, covering access to 10 wonderful wetland sites and enabling us to continue our work in the UK and worldwide: protecting endangered species, from the curlew to the eel; restoring existing habitat and creating new wetlands; advocating for change; and helping to address global threats such as climate change, flooding and wellbeing crises.

As part of these changes we’re also simplifying our admission and membership policies for people with disabilities. From April admissions and memberships for people with disabilities will be based on age and situation. We believe this is a more inclusive approach than offering all visitors with a disability a concession ticket. Carers will still be able to accompany at no extra charge.

Concession prices will still apply to anyone who is aged 65 and over, unemployed or a full-time student.
