East of site currently closed

There is some tree damage at the east of site on the visitor path. It's a very large tree so we will be keeping this area closed until we can get a tree surgeon in to make it safe. Thank you for your understanding, we will remove this alert once the area has reopened.

October road closures

Please note that Sunderland City Council is carrying out essential road maintenance on the A1231 near our site in October.

On Sundays 7, 14 and 28 October, there will be full road closures from 6am-noon, with diversions in place to ensure people can still reach the centre.
