Recent sightings - 7th September
The following sightings were recorded by Toni Castello, warden.
Main lake – visible from Sensory garden and Visitor centre
Mallard 200, Gadwall 2, Tufted 6, Herring gull 1.
Wadermarsh - visible from Brent Hide
Little egret 8, Black-tailed godwit 1, Black-headed gull 10.
Freshwater lagoon – visible from Brent Hide and Crannog
Mute swan 2 adults + 5 cygnets, Little grebe 1, Coot 2.

Swallows still feeding the chicks inside the hatch.
Saline lagoon visible from Limekiln observatory
Little egret 1.
Estuary – visible from Brent hide and Limekiln observatory
Light-bellied brent geese 70 (first late summer sighting, and many more to come!), Oystercatcher +250, Great cormorant 10, Common gull 1.
