Water at Friends pool
Water levels are now back to normal on our Friends pool. This addition of water over the top of freshly rotivated mud will be a combination that birds will find hard to resist! Plenty of feeding opportunities for hungry travellers, it will be interesting to see who takes it up first. A visit over the weekend should be exciting with sandpipers, greenshank, dunlin and ruff regularly using the reserve, keep your eyes peeled for any unusual additions mixed in the flocks.
We are working to get water back onto the pools viewed from Lyle and Nelson-Lyle hide as quickly as possible.
