Whether you’re darting around like a dragonfly, bouncing like a frog or scrambling like a spider, our adventure play zone invites creativity, exercise and fun at every turn. And with spots for grown-ups to sit back and enjoy a well-earned coffee break, it’s a popular space for every member of the family.

Can I bring a pushchair or buggy into the play area at WWT Arundel?

Yes, the floor of the play area is soft, woodchip and buggies are welcome and can be parked along the fence line, out of the way of the play equipment.

Are there picnic tables where we can sit and eat at the play area at WWT Arundel?

There is a picnic area across the pathway from the play area with plenty of tables to enjoy picnics. Snacks and drinks can be enjoyed on benches in the play area.

Are the play areas free at WWT Arundel?

Yes, the adventure play area is included as part of your entry ticket or membership and can be enjoyed from opening time (10am) to closing time at (4.30pm).

Is the play area at WWT Arundel suitable for pre-school children?

Yes, our play area is suitable for younger children including pre-schoolers. Our play area is gated so younger children can explore and play freely in a safe space.
