Perfect for home schoolers, this exclusive new event is available during the WWT Dragonfly Festival only!
Spend a two hour session with our Learning Team diving into the world of dragonflies! Then roam the reserve spotting wildlife, walking the reedbed and enjoying the play area!
Our Learning Team will assist you to:
- Search for dragonfly nymphs at a pond dipping session at the raised pond and learn about their weird and wonderful life cycle
- Board a boat safari and go on a quest for real life dragons and damsels
- Create a dazzling dragonfly masterpiece in a craft workshop
Then spend the rest of your day roaming the reserve!
Cost: £10 per child, The prices includes all day admission to the reserve, private room for your belongings and lunch if you wish, a free accompanying adult, a session leader and any equipment needed on the day.
Time: 10 am - 1 pm is the part of you day spent with the Learning Team, you may remain on site until we close at 4:30 pm
Suitable for: 5yrs-11yrs, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum one adult per child.
