Gain a greater understanding of winter wetland bird species that visit in the colder months.
This walk is for anyone who would like to gain a greater understanding of winter wetland bird species that visit in the colder months.
With a focus on ducks, geese and swans, you will learn useful identification tips to better recognise these birds and learn tips on how to spot rarer winter birds including snipe, marsh harriers and water rails.
Please bring your own binoculars if you have them. Binoculars will be available to borrow on the day. The walk starts at 10:30am and lasts around 2 hours.
Time: 10:30am – 12:30pm
When: Mon 7 Dec
Cost: £15 per person, plus price of centre admission ticket.
WWT members admitted to centre for free.
