Good Morning All!
After a damp start, it's turning a little drier and the animals are showing beautifully.
Today's sightings (so far);
RESERVE; Water voles, Reed bunting, Goldfinch, Wren, Tree Creeper, Dunnock, Bullfinch, Robin, Nuthatch, Song thrush, Chaffinch, Long-tailed/ Blue/ Great tit, Great spotted woodpecker, Mallard & ducklings, Coot & chicks, Moorhen & chicks, Greylag & Canada geese & goslings, Mute swans, Mandarin ducks, Pheasants, Wood pigeon, Collared dove, Rooks, Jackdaws, Herring gulls, Magpies, Peregrines.
LAPWING HIDE; Lapwing & chicks, Pochard & ducklings, Gadwall, Tufted duck, Shelduck, Greylag & Canada geese & goslings, Mute swans, Grey heron.
SAND MARTIN & RAMSAR HIDES; Oyster catchers, Black headed gull breeding colony, Shoveler, Wigeon. Pochard, Teal, Lapwing, Tufted duck, Canada & Greylag geese, Swallows, House Martins & Sand martins.
SCRAPE HIDE; Lapwing, Oyster catchers, Pochard, Shoveler, Gadwall, Shelduck, Greylag & Canada geese, Swallows & House martins.
