Mondays sightings
RESERVE: Sedge warbler, Cuckoo (heard only), Reed warbler, Sparrow hawk, Water vole, Reed bunting, Wren, Nuthatch, Swallows, Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Green finch, Great tit, Blue tit, Robin, Blackbird, Pheasants, Wood pigeon, Jackdaw, Herring gulls.
SAND MARTIN & RAMSAR HIDES: 2 Common terns, Black headed gulls & chicks, 3 Shoveler, 9 Gadwall, 12 Tufted duck, 2 Egyptian geese, 3 Shelduck, Swallows, Lapwing & chicks, (various stages), Oyster catchers & chick.
SCRAPE HIDE: 10 Gadwall & ducklings, 1 Teal, 4 Shelduck & ducklings, 14 Tufted duck, 3 Pochard.
LAPWING HIDE: Lapwing & chicks, 4 Gadwall, 1 male Shoveler (a female and ducklings were also seen from here yesterday, so keep your eye out)!
