This hide is the favourite of roosting pipistrelles bats, but during the day you may see:

Scrape Hide

Channels and pools from this area lead deeper into the reedbed not visible to the public but on the main scrape you may see key species like:

  • Teal
  • Gadwall
  • Tufted ducks

Sand Martin Hide

This hide encompasses an artificial nest bank for sand martins. The deep waters in front are visited by key species like:
