Trout for lunch
Our male osprey 08 brought in a good sized trout for lunch today. He landed on the nest to show his mate then flew to the tree nearby to eat the head. He then brought the rest back to the nest for the female. He was a bit reluctant to give it up but after

Ospreys on the nest in the sunshine

Another bright but still cold day, with plenty (1000s) of Barnacles on/around the site, and lower nos. of Pinkfeet seeming to move through. Whooper Swans at the regular feeds are now dwindling fast, as expected, with only 9 on site at 0830, but with about
