Exploring done, your next stop has to be our cosy coffee shop for stunning views over the reserve and a delicious bite to eat, followed by a spot of gift and souvenir hunting in our shop. Best of all, every penny you spend supports conservation.

Cathan Coffee Shop (Cathan means Barnacle Goose in Gaelic!)

Nestled in our visitors centre is our Cathan Coffee Shop which is welcoming, cosy and relaxing. Come and sit for a while in our Gallery and enjoy some quality, hearty, simple foods which are freshly made to order and indulge in some delicious home baked cake and fairtrade tea or coffee. Surrounded by some beautiful artworks by local artists, you will be able to watch ospreys in the summer and swan feeds in the winter on our live viewing screen in this area of tranquillity.
