Easter Creative Sessions at WWT Castle Espie
Join us for a week of hands-on, family creativity this Easter! From 8th-12th April, drop in between 10am and 2pm and enjoy a different nature inspired activity each day, all included as part of your visitor experience. No booking required, just come along and get creative (first come, first served).
What’s on:
Wednesday 8 April
Kick things off with Chief Messer Marianne and her ever-popular Messy Mornings session, “Wee Birds”. Create your own colourful bird inspired by the sights and sounds of Castle Espie.
Thursday 9 April
Join Heather for Fabric Egg Decorations. Using a beautiful mix of scrap fabrics, ribbons and bows, design and decorate your own unique Easter egg to take home.
Friday 10 April
Get hands-on with Claire from Nodo Crafts and make Spring Blossom Pinch Pots. Shape your own clay pot and decorate it with delicate blossom, petals and leaves for a truly seasonal keepsake.
Saturday 11 April
Jessica, aka The Dirty Painter, introduces her natural techniques in Muddy Easter Eggs. Discover creative ways to paint using earthy materials and embrace a little mess along the way!
Sunday 12 April
Wrap up the week with Caitie’s Build a Bloom session, bright, fun and full of colour, perfect for celebrating the arrival of spring.
