Gathering Stitches Festival
The Gathering Stitches Festival returns to WWT Castle Espie for a weekend celebrating yarn, textile arts and sustainable creativity.
Visitors can explore a curated selection of exhibitors offering yarn, fibre, textile art, haberdashery and handcrafted goods. The festival brings together makers, designers and suppliers from across Ireland, creating an inspiring space for both experienced crafters and those new to stitching and textile art.
A varied programme of workshops and demonstrations will run across the weekend, with sessions suitable for a range of skill levels. Workshop places can be booked in advance through the festival website.
Your event ticket also includes access to the full WWT Castle Espie nature reserve, allowing visitors to enjoy the wetlands and walking trails alongside the festival experience.
