FAQs

What is Mudfest?
Mudfest is a week-long celebration of all things muddy, wild and wonderful. Taking place during February half term, it’s packed with hands-on activities that encourage children (and grown-ups!) to explore, create and play in nature’s messiest playground.

What should we wear?
Waterproofs, wellies and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy. Trust us - clean clothes are overrated!

Will there be clean-up facilities?
Handwashing sinks can be found outside the Visitor Centre and at the bathroom in the Lime Kiln. We recommend bringing towels and spare clothes for the journey home.

Ready to get muddy?

All activities are included in admission ticket or free for WWT members. You can just turn up on the day or if you are not a WWT member and would like to pre-book.
