Join expert birder Branwen Munn for a special bird‑spotting day at WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre as part of The National Trust's Birding with Branwen programme.
Whether you’re a keen birder or simply curious about the wildlife on your doorstep, this guided walk is your chance to explore the hides, lagoons and estuary edges with a seasoned spotter by your side.
£6 per person, booking essential. Spaces are limited. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

What you’ll see
With a focus on our estuary and marsh specialists, Branwen will help you look for:
- Waders including Little Egret, Spoonbill and Black‑tailed Godwit
- Waterfowl like Little Grebe, Shelduck and Pochard
- Plus the chance of spotting Kingfisher, Snipe, Finches, Warblers and other seasonal visitors across the reserve.
Expect relaxed, expert guidance with plenty of opportunities to stop, look and learn. You can stay for the whole session or join for just an hour or two.
Accessibility & route
Our paths are mostly level and accessible. Weather conditions can affect surfaces, but alternative routes are provided wherever possible so everyone can enjoy the experience. If you have specific access requirements, we’re always happy to help.
