11 Spoonbill, Grey Plover, Cattle Egret, Curlew Sandpiper, Spotted Redshank

11 Spoonbill have been seen on the Saline Lagoon this week breaking the centre record. The usual suspects have been spotted around the lagoon which include: Curlew Sandpiper, Spotted Redshank, Grey Plover, Brent Geese, Cattle Egret and high numbers of Knot and Black tailed Godwit.
Millennium Wetlands
Over on the Millennium Wetlands there have been sightings of Kingfisher, Lapwing and Little Grebe. Wildfowl numbers of species such as Tufted duck, Gadwall and Teal are slowly building in readiness for the winter months.
