A white fronted goose mixed company with the greylag flock on the NRA scrapes and is best viewed from the British steel hide. Other sightings today include mediterranean gull, 85 black tailed godwit, 20 knot, spotted redshank, 4 greenshank, 20 lapwing, 2 snipe, 4 little egret, 42 greylag goose, 50 shelduck, 9 wigeon, 50 gadwall, 8 teal, 160 mallard, 12 pochard, 70 tufted duck, 2 little grebe, peregrine, 2 buzzard and a tawny owl calling during daylight hours.
Butterfly sightings include orange tip, speckled wood, small tortoiseshell, comma, red admiral and brimstone.
