At least 100,000 starlings are continuing to roost in the bittern reedbed nightly. The female goosander is still present in front of the Peter Scott hide. Other highlights include 355 lapwing, 6 black tailed godwit, 51 knot, 17 curlew, 875 oystercatcher, greenshank, 14 snipe, 63 dunlin, 4 redshank, merlin, sparrowhawk, 7 little grebe, 3 great crested grebe, 43 greylag goose, 118 shelduck, 24 shoveler, 51 teal, 93 wigeon, 69 gadwall, 195 mallard, 5 pochard, 61 tufted duck, 7 little egret, 5 water rail, 11 siskin and 6 redpoll.
