A Slavonian grebe was seen on the estuary at high tide. Starlings are continuing to roost nightly in the bittern reedbed and are still around 100,000 in number. Other highlights include 455 lapwing, 2 black tailed godwit, 15 knot, 25 curlew, 75 oystercatcher, 5 snipe, 23 dunlin, 18 redshank, sparrowhawk, peregrine, 7 little grebe, 4 great crested grebe, 61 greylag goose, 177 shelduck, 11 shoveler, 19 teal, 133 wigeon, 78 gadwall, 220 mallard, 8 pochard, 82 tufted duck, 19 little egret, 3 water rail, treecreeper, 5 siskin and 4 redpoll.
