Today’s highlights include a spoonbill in front of the British steel hide, a great white egret in front of the Peter Scott hide and a pink footed goose on the lagoon. Other sightings include 256 black tailed godwit, spotted redshank, 10 greenshank, 14 lapwing, 6 grey heron, 7 little egret, 60 greylag goose, 69 shelduck, 23 wigeon, 79 gadwall, 15 teal, 110 mallard, 4 pochard, 61 tufted duck, 5 chiffchaff and 2 cetti’s warbler.
Butterfly sightings include small tortoiseshell, comma, brimstone and red admiral.
