Road Diversion: Croston village (A581) is currently closed due to essential bridge maintenance work If you are travelling on the M6 please leave via junction 27 to avoid the disruption. If you are travelling from Leyland on the A581, please do not drive through Croston – continue onto the B5247 through Bretherton and turn left onto A59. This will lead you to Rufford and Burscough to pick up signs to Martin Mere.
