Ready for an epic adventure? Paddle and Play is our multi-attraction play zone with fun for explorers of all ages.
Paddle and Play includes three key attractions:
- A brand new natural wet play area
- Canoe safari and boat tours
- Woodland den building area
Wet play area
Brand new for 2025, our all-natural wet play area has been designed with accessibility in mind. Splash and scream your way through the rain curtain. Play an epic game of ‘the floor is lava’ on the timber tangle. Control the flow of the play stream by raising and lowering the sluice gates. Or see how high you can jump in the in-ground trampolines.
The wet play area is aimed primarily at under 4s, but open to all ages.
Canoe safari and boat tour
Discover amazing wildlife as you meander through two kilometres of reedbed, flooded woodlands, pools and wet grassland on our award-winning canoe safari or guided boat.

Head into our dedicated den building area, where you can create your own wild woodland habitat. Collect sticks, twigs, moss and other natural materials to build your own den.
Sit back and relax
There is also a kiosk serving drinks and snacks during busy weekends and holidays and 12 picnic benches situated by the water’s edge.
