Our Chilean flamingo flock is currently being housed indoors. This is a temporary measure as a precaution to avian influenza (bird flu). We will let you know as soon as they are safe to be outdoors. Thank you for your understanding.

Join our wardens in exploring the wilder side of our wetlands as they guide you through North Wood, Top Meadow and Spring Gill, searching for the tracks and signs that tell us which wildlife is around and what they are getting up to when our backs are turned

Meet our team for this hour long wild walk around our reserve soaking up the sights and sounds of nature.

This is a fantastic opportunity to spend some time with our expert wardens so ask any questions as we go. It's also a great chance to practice your IDing skills with hints and tips from our team. For avid photographers, you may just spot a new thing or two!

No booking needed - we'll leave the centre at 1pm so please meet in the picture window 5 minutes beforehand.
