WWT Welney’s Marketing & Events Officer, Emma Brand said:

For a day out with a difference this October, our eek! Weeks event gives families the chance to connect with nature while enjoying a fantastic, fun, wildlife learning experience.

“Autumn is such a special time to visit our wonderful wetlands – with highlights including migratory birds, changing colours of reeds and leaves, late dragonflies and peaceful waterscapes – and the added extra of a nature-based interactive trail is a brilliant way for children to get outdoors and use all their senses to explore the wild world around them”.

The eek Weeks! interactive trail is self-led and runs throughout the day (10am-4pm, last admission 3pm) from Saturday 1-Monday 31 October. Cost is included in admission (free to members).
