Bird News

A White-fronted Goose with Pink-footed Geese was the pick of the day.

A male Siskin was in the Waterfowl Gardens (opposite the Common Crane enclosure).

A Ringed Plover was in front of the United Utilities hide, but other wader counts slightly down on yesterday, with 13 Avocet and about 40 Ruff.

Both Tawny and Barn Owls still showing regularly (and occasionally very well), as were Marsh Harrier, Peregrine, and Merlin.IMG_0519
