Crackdown on invasive non-native plants and animals welcomed
WWT has welcomed today’s announcement of a Europe-wide crackdown on non-native invasive plants and animals which are damaging wildlife in the UK and across Europe. A new European-wide Regulation will aim to better prevent the spread of invasive species,

Waders fest continues
Little Stint present this afternoon from the Ron Barker Hide. A minimum of 3 Curlew Sandpiper around the reserve probably 5. Four Greenshank flew in mid morning onto the Mere before heading towards Woodend Marsh. Other waders included 7 Dunlin, 2 Ringed P

Wader migration continues
