A firecrest has been seen this afternoon, near the heron hide. The spoonbill is still on the lagoon along with 6 greenshank and 81 black tailed godwit. Other highlights include 15 chiffchaff, goldeneye, peregrine, kestrel, wheatear and 2 cetti’s warbler

Two unusual visitors a WWT Arundel

Glossy Ibis
Star bird at the moment is the Glossy Ibis which appeared yesterday morning and promptly disappeared! It was seen again from 3pm. This morning it was present until around 11am, so hopefully it will pop back in to roost overnight. Great crested Grebe still
