Millennium Wetlands 2 Mediterranean Gulls were flying over Deep Water lake and the first 4 willow warblers of the year were around the wetlands. 18 chiffchaffs and 10 cetti's warblers are now on territory. Butterflies: 7 brimstone, comma, 4 small tortois

A first summer Little Gull from the Ron Barker Hide this afternoon is a first for the year.   Also new in House Martin. Four adult Med Gull present on the Mere today. Three Little Egret and 6 Grey Heron feeding on the reserve. At least 3 Sand Martin

The 'Easter Hare' is a traditional symbol of Easter and our hares have been very rowdy on the reserve this week! The females can be seen boxing with the males; telling the males that they're not quite ready and running away reaching a top speed of 47mph!
