Latest Sightings - 21st October
There has been an American duck on the Folly Pond the past few days. A drake Green-winged Teal has appeared. It's behaviour is very similar to the individual which has been seen here the past 2 winters so we expect it is the same one. He can be identified

Pink-footed geese bonanza at WWT Martin Mere

Migration and Murmurations
A calm day with great visibility. Some big flocks of Pink-footed Geese coming onto the reserve from midday day onward. Three Barnacle Geese were in among the flocks. Yesterday's co-ordinated goose count in Lancashire produced 94000 Pink-footed Geese. The
