Glorious Waders

A good day for sightings with plenty to see, the large numbers of Black-tailed Godwits inc a colour-ringed bird were joined by a 'grey' Knot, also still plenty of nicely marked Ruff. Up to 2 Peregrines and at least 1 female Marsh Harrier were keeping the birds on their toes.

The Kingfishers have been showing occasionally from Ron Barker Hide, 3 Raven were seen in the morning, Common Terns are still around as the group of 7 Whooper Swan that are spending the summer on the reserve.
