A bittern has been seen in front of the Peter Scott hide this morning along with a wheatear and 2 chiffchaff. Other highlights include 290 oystercatcher, 87 curlew, 17 black tailed godwit, 2 greenshank, 30 lapwing, 6 knot, 8 cormorant, 5 grey heron, 61 greylag goose, 59 shelduck, 26 wigeon, 63 gadwall, 17 teal, 155 mallard, 11 pintail, 7 shoveler, 12 pochard, 50 tufted duck, peregrine, water rail and kingfisher.

 

Butterfly sightings include small tortoiseshell and 2 comma
