Wildlife sightings for 2nd May 2021
Male Whinchat on the grazing marsh and Little Ringed Plover on the wader scrape.
1 Kittiwake - main lake then off high East

1 Little Ringed Plover - wader scrape
2 Common Sandpiper - main lake
2 Oystercatcher - main lake
4 Snipe - grazing marsh
5 Redshank - wader scrape, grazing marsh
2 Yellow Wagtail - grazing marsh
Reptiles: (mid-April survey) 4 Common Lizard, 2 Grass Snake, 13 Slow Worm.
Flowering plants: Cowslip, Cow Parsley, Primrose, Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Marsh Marigold, Lesser Celandine, Forget-me-not, Cuckoo-flower, Snake's-head Fritillary, Wood Anemone.
Water voles: feeding platforms noted along the south route, and one adult spotted in wildside.
